Gentle Ben: A Texas story.
Ricky graduated from Texas A&M, Class of '85, and went on to live his life, but he just couldn’t shake the inspiration he got from his dad. His mission brought him back to his alma mater where he partnered with Texas A&M scientist and professor Dr. Ben Mosier, Class of '48, to further develop the revolutionary process that is the unique signature of Gentle Ben.
As we said 'Goodbye' to Ricky in January of this year, we vowed to keep his legacy ever present at Gentle Ben. We wholeheartedly believe that Gentle Ben's innovative, Texas-born technology will continue to influence the art of distilling far beyond this lifetime.

Our limited Straight Cask Strength Bourbon Whiskey begins with a high rye bourbon, specially crafted to remove certain congeners that cause harshness, while maximizing its complex flavors of maple, cherry, and tannins. Aged three years and bottled straight from the barrel, it is amazingly smooth and enjoyable despite its formidable strength.
